Vimeo!

Hey guys, just wanted to do a quick little update.
I've just created my own Vimeo which all my animations/motion design work will be posted on so go check that out if your interested.
I've uploaded a small preview of the animation I am working on at the moment which is all about New Zealand and our identity. The part that's on Vimeo now is a section showing heritage and in particular, British heritage.

- Plan each aspect of New Zealand culture and the imagery to go with each of them.
- If, by the end of the day I still have no reply from my artists, e-mail my backup artists

06-03-2012 Goals

- Get close to a final logo design today, as I can't do too much work on my art making project until I get home. (Animation/Video editing software needed)
- Get 2 back-up artists as I still haven't heard from either Jonny Kofoed or Andy Mueller.
- Gather basic information on these two new artists.

Week 6 Goals

- Complete reading response #1
- Complete final version of the logo
- Research/questions sorted, ready for interviews
- Complete art making assignment

2-3-2012 Goals

- Scan in a final 'Under construction' logo, ready for the web design team. (Done)
- Complete basic research on Jonny Kofoed and Andy Mueller. (Done)
- Contact Artist's via e-mail, asking for an interview. (Done)

Goals reflection

So today i've completed what I needed to do, finalised a logo for the construction of the website.
So tomorrow I can work on my interview questions and research. Now i'm gonna go have a mean feed (:

What I need to achieve today

Today I want to focus on the logo design. I want to continue with logo concepts, but more importantly I want to complete the 'Website under Construction' logo.

Progress

Hey everyone, so thought I would update my small following on what progress we have made so far.
Since my last post we've come quite far and finished the bulk of our work to do with the redesign of our classroom.
Since we only have a few thing's we are waiting on in order to complete the class, we have moved on to the main goal of the project, the magazine. We've come up with a name, Passionfruit magazine and started on the logo design, which I have taken responsibility of myself and hope to have completed within the next few days.
We have also began to contact artists that we have been inspired by in hopes that we might get an interview for the magazine. In my case, I have chosen Jonny Kofoed, a graphic/motion designer from New Zealand, and Andy Mueller, an illustrator/photographer for various skateboard companies.
I hope to have and interview with these two great artists soon but in the meantime check them out here:

The Art Project

Hey everyone, so if have read the 'Bit about myself' section on the page, you'll know I, along with 20 other students, am involved in an Art Project at Fraser High School (Curriculum Integration Project). Our goal is to create a magazine ready for publishing in July of this year and a magazine to match.
